1. Terms and Conditions for the Hospitality Service
Welcome to our website. Accommodation services, bookings, and the use of this platform are managed exclusively by HOSTEE RENT A PLACE LLC (EIN 33-2490986, with a registered address at 2020 Ponce de Leon Blvd Ste 904, Coral Gables, FL 33134, USA), hereinafter referred to as the "OPERATOR".
By making a booking on this website, you expressly accept the following terms:
1. Nature of the Service
The service provided is a short-term (tourist) hospitality agreement for a maximum period of thirty (30) days. Under no circumstances does it constitute an urban residential lease agreement.
2. Protection of Minors and Mandatory Registration (Colombian Law 679 of 2001)
All guests, without exception, must be duly registered with the OPERATOR before entering the property, presenting a valid passport or identity document.
STRICT PROHIBITION: In accordance with Colombian Law 679 of 2001 and Law 1336 of 2009 (prevention of the sexual exploitation and abuse of minors), the entry or lodging of minors is not authorized under any circumstances unless accompanied by their parents or a duly accredited legal guardian. Any attempt by a minor to enter without meeting these legal requirements will be reported immediately to the relevant authorities, resulting in the cancellation of the reservation with no right to a refund.
3. Acceptance of the Property
Upon entering the property, the guest has two (2) hours to report in writing any dissatisfaction with its condition, cleanliness, or inventory. After this period, or after occupying the property for more than twelve (12) hours, the guest is deemed to have fully accepted the service and the condition of the property.
4. House Rules and Prohibitions
- Organizing parties or events, or playing loud music that disturbs the neighbors' peace, is strictly prohibited.
- Smoking inside the premises or common areas is strictly prohibited, as is bringing in illegal substances, narcotics, or weapons.
- Failure to comply with these rules entitles the OPERATOR to unilaterally and immediately terminate the service with no right to a refund.
5. Pets and Cleaning
Daily housekeeping is not included in the standard rate. If traveling with pets, the guest is responsible for any damage or specialized cleaning costs required upon checkout.
6. Governing Law and Jurisdiction
This agreement and the obligations arising from it are governed by the laws of the State of Florida, USA. However, for properties located in Colombia, any dispute or claim that must be resolved in person on site will be submitted to the jurisdiction of the civil courts of the city of Cali, Colombia.
2. Standard Cancellation Policy
At HOSTEE RENT A PLACE LLC, we understand that plans can change. Our policy is designed to give guests flexibility while protecting the availability of our properties:
1. Early Cancellation (More than 5 nights before arrival)
If you request the cancellation of your reservation more than five (5) nights before the scheduled check-in date and time, you will be refunded 80% of the total amount paid. The remaining 20% is retained by the OPERATOR to cover administrative costs, bank processing fees, and the blocking of the property.
2. Late Cancellation (5 nights or fewer before arrival)
If the cancellation request is made within five (5) nights of arrival, or in the event the guest does not show up (No Show), no refund of any kind will apply.
3. Early Departures
If you decide to leave the property before the agreed end date, this will be considered full use of the reservation, and no partial refunds will apply for the unused time.
3. Data Processing and Privacy Policy
In compliance with applicable international data protection and digital privacy regulations (as well as Colombian Law 1581 of 2012), HOSTEE RENT A PLACE LLC informs its users that personal data collected through this website (such as name, identification, contact details, phone number, and billing information) will be treated in strict confidence and under high security standards.
This data will be used exclusively for the following purposes:
- Effectively processing, confirming, charging, and managing your accommodation bookings.
- Complying with legal registration obligations before local tourism authorities at the destination where the property is located (such as the Accommodation Registration Card - TRA).
- Sending purchase confirmations, invoices, and communications directly related to your stay.
- Mitigating fraud, handling commercial disputes, or managing chargeback requests with financial institutions.
As the data owner, you may request access, correction, updating, or deletion of your information from our databases at any time by sending an email to our direct support channel: info.reservas@hostee.com.co.
